Toyota FT-86 Concept

The Toyota FT-86 Concept was first shown at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show. It was shown in various versions at other car shows such as the FT-86 G Sports, the FT-86 II, the Scion FR-S Concept and finally the Subaru BRZ STi.

The Toyota FT-86 was a cooperation between Subaru and Toyota.

The new Toyota ZN6 platform including the, Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S, Toyota GT-86 and Toyota 86 has refreshed the affordable sports car market and also filled the void of an affordable rear wheel drive sports car. Something that has been missing for far too long. With the popularity of drifting and rear wheel drive cars spiking interest in current years, Toyota and Subaru have teamed up to built one of those most hyped cars in recent years.

  1. I have some latest news for you.
Toyota Motors might release the Etios twins in Indonesia at the Indonesian International Motor Show 2012 which will be held in Jakarta from September 20-30 this year. The Etios sedan and Etios Liva have already been exported to South Africa and the launch is scheduled in May; a Brazilian launch is also on the cards for these two cars. Toyota Kirloskar Motors wishes to emerge as an export hub and has thus started producing the Etios twins at a large scale. The price of these cars is expected to be pretty competitive in Indonesian shores as these would reach there as CKD units. And Maruti Suzuki India has rolled out its much awaited MPV Maruti Ertiga in six variant on 12th April. Maruti Ertiga price ranges from Rs. 5.89 lakh to Rs. 8.45 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
